Experience

Experience is a Tanorians value that grows as they partake in battles. Upon gaining enough experience their Level is increased, which not only enhances the Tanorian's combat potential but may also be a key factor for most Tanorian Evolutions. Experience can be gained until a Tanorian reaches the level cap, which at the time of V1.3a update is 45.

Experience Rate

All Tanorians belong to different experince rates which determine how many experience a Tanorian needs to level up. Currently there are 4 known experience rates: Fast, Medium Fast, Medium Slow and Slow. You can see a Tanorian's experience rate in its Tanopedia entry or on its wiki page.

Experience Gain

When a Tanorian defeats another Tanorian in a battle, the winning Tanorian is awarded experience. The amount of experience it will gain relies on a formula.

Formula

$Exp=\left\lfloor {\frac {Base\times Level\times Type}{7\times Participation}}\right\rfloor$
The "L" signs mean that the number in them is being rounded down.

• Base is the base experience yield of a Tanorian. You can find it on most Tanorian wiki pages.
• Level is the level of the defeated Tanorian.
• Type represents the battle type.
  • 1 if Wild Battle.
  • 1.5 if Tamer Battle.
• Participation represents participation of the Tanorian.
  • 1 if the Tanorian was on the battlefield when the opposing Tanorian fainted.
  • 1.5 if the Tanorian wasn't on the battlefield when the opposing Tanorian fainted.

Example

Let's say we want to calculate how much experience our Tanorian will get after defeating a level 30 Hallusion in a wild battle:

• Hallusion's base experience yield is 142, so the Base variable will be 142.
• Hallusion's level is 30, so the Level variable will be 30.
• It was a wild battle, so the Type variable will be 1.
• The Tanorian was on the battlefield when defeating Hallusion, so the Participation variable will be 1

This will be the result:
$Exp=\left\lfloor {\frac {142\times 30\times 1}{7\times 1}}\right\rfloor =608$
That means our Tanorian will get 608 experience.
