Guardemis Guardemis is a Grass/Cosmic-type Tanorian. It evolves from Lunare at level 36. It is the final evolution of Rabush.

Appearance[]

Guardemis resembles a humanoid rabbit, with green fur covering most of its body. It has 2 brown horns that protrude from the top of its head, with a cosmic aura at the tips. This aura also appears at the ends of its feet, hands, tail, and shoulders. The top of Guardemis' torso is covered by brown fur at the top with purple tips, and it has a purple cloth with pink on the edges that covers its stomach. Guardemis' hands resemble white gloves, with a light yellow at the cuffs. Its face has a brown 3 pointed paw like shape in the centre, with purple on that sides that carry the eyes. The sides of the face have green fur fluff and the bottom of the face is a very light shade of yellow. Ears extend from the top of the head, with the insides being the same shade of yellow as the under of the face.

Origin[]

"Guardemis is based on Greek mythology, despite being based on a Jackalope, which is American in origin. Rather than being an American Jackalope, the inspiration was taken from the fusion of a deer and a hare

Guardemis' protector and hunting nature comes directly from Artemis who is the is the goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, nature, vegetation all of which are related to Guardemis. As well as the moon shaped horns, purple accents, and star-cluster clouds, drawing from Artemis' association with the moon.

Adding on to its Greek inspiration, Guardemis draws from the tale of Heracles, specifically his third labor. This was to hunt the Ceryneian Hind, a strong deer that has direct relation to Artemis. As well as having its fur and body designs based on a Greek Warriors, of which Heracles was one.

Like the other two starters, the Rabush line is based on a specific Medieval Archetype. Guardemis represents the Knight. Guardemis is a protector of all things Earth and nature. And it does so through its ability to hunt. Being based on two Greek hunting myths, Guardemis is given the skills of an expert huntsman, and uses these skills to protect the forest it calls home and the Tanorians that live there." - Garrett

Guardemis's name is a combination of the noun "guard" and the Greek goddess "Artemis".

Official Description[]

Ancient tales state that Guardemis was once a knight within an ancient war, fighting courageously for justice and peace. It has a strange connection with the universe.
