Scarasite is a Water/Ghost-type Tanorian. It does not evolve from or into any other Tanorian.

Origin[]
Scarasite is based on the Tounge-eating louse (Cymothoa exigua). Its name is a portmanteau of 'scare' and 'parasite, referring to its origin and ghost-typing.
Official Description[]
| The host Scarasite inhabit are from far away seas, it is believed its evolution prior latches onto its host and steals the energy it gains, ultimately evolving while still inside the host and using its body to swim to a warmer climate. |
