Shiny Tanorian

Shiny Tanorians are very rare Tanorians that have different coloration than the original, although it had no bearing on their stats, similarly to Alpha Tanorians and their size change. Unlike Alpha Tanorians, however, any Tanorian has the capability to be a Shiny Tanorian, including Roaming Tanorians, Alpha Tanorians,Event Tanorians, and even the Starter Tanorians.

Encountering

While a Shiny Tanorian can be encountered anywhere, the odds of encountering a Shiny Tanorian under normal circumstances are 1/2000 (.05%), and become even rarer when they are Roaming, Alpha, Event, or Starters. Shiny Tanorians can be identified by their different color scheme and glowing aura when spawning in the overworld, they can also be identified by a slight hum that plays when near them. When in battle with a Shiny Tanorian, the text for the Tanorian's name will also turn rainbow.

Trivia

• While the game was in development, the only way to know whether a Tanorian was Shiny or not was to battle it, but this feature was removed prior to the beta version of the game to make them easier to encounter.
