Tanaku Village

Tanaku Village is a main location in Tales of Tanorio.

Tanaku Village is a small settlement within Tanorio where the player starts their journey. The village houses Tanaku Research Corporation, where all players recieve their starter Tanorian. It is unknown where it is exactly located in Tanorio in relation to other settlements.

Story[]

The player is watching a battle between a Citress and a Fordrake on TV. The player then walks out into the living room to find their mother, saying that she needs to find some work so she can pay the bills, and encourages the player to go for a walk. Outside, the player is greeted by their friend Kira, who receives a call from Professor Iroko. He says that she and her friend (the player) has displayed potential and passion regarding Tanorians, and would like them to go to the research facility nearby. Kira tells the player she'll meet them there.

After selecting the starter Tanorian, Kira is outside waiting for a battle. After that, she tells the player to see their mother, and plans to meet up with them again at Arksworth.

Tanaku Village is a quiet community with a lot of character. It's located in Vitania, a district in Northern Tanorio. It's also home to your friendly neighbor Kira. A strange journey awaits here on the behalf of Professor Iroko. He requires a helping hand with a recent discovery.

Trivia[]

The appearances of the houses in the village appear to take inspiration from various wood house dwelling designs, possibly including Bavarian or Basque architecture, as well as possible Japanese influence.
A statue in the center of the village, it is based of an possibly old Copernica model.
